Influenced by the flower painting of Georgia O"O'Keeffe my new watercolor painting series in 2016, titled, "Grace and Beauty" takes a close -up look at the quiet beauty and delicately found in the petals of flowers.
Wildflowers
Another series I'm working on in 2016 is "Wildflowers", These paintings captures the richness of colors and textures of wildflowers in their natural settings.in California and other parts of the world.
Seasons
In my continuing series- "Seasons", I captured the experiences of changes seasons-- orange and golden colors of autumn, the playfulness of jumping in the leaves from childhood, birch trees that bring back memories of growing up on the East Coast and winter's red holly berries in the backyard, summertime memories of chili peppers from the garden that dance, a flower bouquet from a loving memory.
