Charlotte Mullich is an award-winning artist. Her nature-inspired watercolor paintings explore the movement of koi, the color and grace of flora, and the beauty of nature found in simple everyday objects.
Charlotte Mullich grew up in New York, where her love of the changing seasons, nature and outdoors had its early beginnings. Her love of art and painting comes from her father, a professional artist and graphic designer. Early in her career she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education and taught for several years in upstate New York before moving to California. Charlotte moved to the Los Angeles area, where she continues to teach painting and drawing at the high school level. While working at the school, she designed and painted several backdrops scenes for the theater and created banners for other school events. During this time, Mullich earned a Master of Art degree, with an emphasis on Art History. Throughout her career she has explored all mediums including oil, acrylic, pastels, and color pencils, but always returns to watercolors. Creating art has always been a huge part of her life, and in 2014 Mullich dedicated herself toward pursuing a serious career as an artist.
Charlotte Mullich has been exhibiting her watercolor paintings in art galleries and fine art festivals throughout California such as the Beverly Hills, Sierra Madre, and Santa Barbara art shows. In addition to her watercolors, Mullich has a line of wire-wrapped jewelry, Whimsical WearWire.
Mullich is an artist member of Woman's Painters West ( WPW), the Santa Barbara Artist Association (SBAA) the Valley Watercolor Society (VWS), the Santa Clarita Artist Association (SCAA) and an Associated Member of the American Watercolor Society.
Charlotte Mullich paintings can be found in clients collections throughout the US and internationally.
